The Road to Adulting…Professionally

No one tells you how real life can get. I mean, you get a few sneak peaks every now and again but no one explains that life, even for the best planner it has a way of doing whatever it wants. For some, the plans made pan out but then leave a lack of fulfillment. For others, the plans seem to be allergic to the plan and you feel like things are swirling by out of control. 

See, adulting isn’t about being in a certain place because we don’t live in a stagnant universe. Adulting is.  It is who you are and who you will become. It is the decisions you make and the ones you don’t. It is the failures and the successes. It is the victories and the defeats. It is the boos and the cheers.  

Professional adulting can begin with a training program or an interview. It can include an externship or an LLC. There isn’t a prescription on where you need to go but there are a few things that will help you along the journey. I use my story and experience as a Millennial and a Human Resources professional to help my peers and organizations.
